The Department of Community Health Sciences (CHS) is the leading unit of its type in Pakistan, recognized regionally and internationally for the relevance, quality, and extent of its work in support of public health and the development of primary health care systems. It comprises of five major operational sections: Epidemiology & biostatistics, Health policy & management, Population & reproductive health, Environmental health & climate change, and non-communicable diseases & mental health.
- This is a grant-funded contractual position.
Responsibilities
You Will Be Responsible To:
- design and validate performance indicators to assess hotline effectiveness, user experience, and quality of information provided. Establish baseline, midline, and endline indicators for comparison between GenAI and human-staffed hotlines
- collect, clean, and analyze hotline utilization data, user satisfaction, and response accuracy using quantitative and qualitative methods
- provide regular reports to the PI, donors, and stakeholders. Draft manuscripts, policy briefs, and presentations to disseminate findings nationally and internationally
- train project staff on M&E tools, data collection, and reporting requirements. Coordinate with hotline operators, GenAI developers, and field teams

- ensure M&E activities align with institutional, donor, and global standards.
Requirements
You Should Have:
- a Master’s Degree in relevant discipline (including public health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Social Sciences, Health Informatics, or related fields
- minimum 3–5 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, or research roles in health projects
- strong expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methods, including survey design, data analysis (SPSS/Stata/R, NVivo) and interpretation
- demonstrated experience in digital health, AI-based interventions, or hotline/telehealth evaluations is an asset.
