This is a grant-funded contractual position.
 

Job Role / Responsibilities:

You Will Be Responsible To:

  • Set up, configure, and maintain all ICT (hardware and software) resources within the department;
  • serve as the first point of contact for ICT-related issues and provide prompt technical assistance to users;
  • install, configure, and administer desktop and notebook systems, operating systems, and peripheral devices;
  • provide one-on-one user training on Microsoft Office applications and operating systems;
  • ensure all IT equipment assigned is maintained in good working condition and under safe custody;
  • document technical procedures and maintain troubleshooting guides for common issues;
  • manage and resolve reported incidents and escalate issues where necessary;
  • set up and support ICT equipment for meetings, seminars, and departmental events;
  • maintain and update asset and software license records accurately;
  • coordinate with the Central ICT Team to ensure smooth system integration and support continuity;
  • follow and implement SOP’s in line with ICT policies;
  • make sure all handover and takeover of staff equipment is recorded and updated timely;
  • conduct fixed asset verification every six months;
  • perform preventive maintenance and ICT support visits at field sites;
  • ensure smooth routine ICT operations within the department and timely resolution of issues. 
  

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline;
  • minimum of one to two years of relevant professional experience preferred;
  • strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Productivity Applications;
  • proficiency in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.);
  • ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • willingness to travel to field sites across Pakistan;
  • resilience and ability to work effectively under pressure.
