Join J.P. Morgan’s Documentation Management team as an Operations Analyst, ensuring accuracy and compliance in legal documentation review.

Job Summary

As an Operations Analyst within the Documentation Management team, you review legal documentation and input key parameters into J.P. Morgan’s systems. You will coordinate with internal functions and stakeholders to resolve issues and support the development of efficient operating frameworks. Your performance will be measured by productivity and quality, requiring flexibility with shifts and a strong focus on detail.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review legal documentation such as ISDAs, CSA, F&O, and OTC agreements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Input key parameters from legal documents into internal systems efficiently.
  • Identify issues and coordinate with internal functions like credit and legal for prompt resolution within set timeframes.
  • Collaborate with partners in legal, business, operations, and technology to enhance operating frameworks.
  • Work closely with the regional Legal Operations Department and other stakeholders to support agreement negotiation and transactions.
  • Consistently produce high-quality work to meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Adapt to flexible shifts and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.

 Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Derivatives Master Agreements and trade-related documentation within investment banking or law firm.
  • Excellent understanding of derivative legal documents such as ISDA and CSA.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Graduation in any discipline, with law or commerce graduation being relevant.

  • Ability to multi-task and identify priority issues with strong execution mentality.
  • Demonstrated teamwork approach and ability to execute tasks independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and a consistent ‘working to deadline’ approach.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and regional teams in a dynamic environment.
