This critical after-hours position puts you at the heart of healthcare operations, ensuring facilities have the qualified staff they need during the most challenging coverage periods. You'll be the vital link between healthcare facilities facing urgent staffing needs and a network of registered nurses and personal care workers ready to step in. Working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, you'll handle time-sensitive requests that directly affect patient care, making split-second decisions that keep healthcare operations running smoothly across hundreds of facilities nationwide.Responsibilities
- Answer urgent phone calls and emails from hospitals and aged care facilities requesting immediate staff coverage
- Quickly match registered nurses and personal care workers to facility needs, filling critical shifts
- Communicate confidently with healthcare facility managers, providing updates on staffing solutions and coverage status
- Navigate multiple client systems and internal CRM/ATS platforms simultaneously with precision
- Coordinate seamlessly with onshore account managers and maintain clear communication with nursing professionals
- Monitor complex schedules and rosters for agency staff across hundreds of healthcare facilities
- Handle diverse inquiries and efficiently redirect communications across the organization
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail when working across multiple systems to ensure accuracy
- Provide reliable coverage during critical after-hours periods when facilities depend on immediate support
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in coordination, customer service,or similar client-facing roles
- Exceptional communication skills with confidence to speak with healthcare professionals and facility managers
- Assertive personality with ability to push back when necessary and handle high-pressure, urgent situations
- Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities
- Proven track record of reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Experience working efficiently with multiple software systems simultaneously
- Ability to work independently during after-hours shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong sense of urgency and excellent prioritization skills in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable working evening and weekend hours as part of near 24/7 operations team
