Occupational Therapist (OT), Brooks at Halifax Inpatient, Full-Time

Halifax Health | Brooks Rehabilitation - Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation, located within Halifax Health – Medical Center of Daytona Beach, specializes in treating stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury and complex orthopedic conditions. A full spectrum of physical and neuro rehabilitation services are provided.

• Sign On Bonus Available: $4,000
• Location: 303 N Clyde Morris Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114
• Hours: Full-Time; Rotating Weekends

Compensation: Experience and education may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. Opportunity for premium pay on weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Complete the new patient evaluation, establish customized treatment plans and patient goals, and participate in the implementation of patient care programs
• Apply a variety of therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients
• Deliver high quality patient care for multiple rehabilitation diagnoses
• Provide a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment
• Effectively communicate both verbally and written
• Promote evidence based patient care

Qualifications:

• Current OT license in state of Florida
• Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification
• Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements
