Duties and Responsibilities / KPI’s

1. Strategic Planning And Development:

• Lead the development and implementation of long-term infrastructure plans. 
• Collaborate with senior management to align infrastructure projects with organizational goals. 
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects. 1.4. Percentage of projects completed on or before the scheduled deadline.

2. Project Management:

• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects. 
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. 
• Manage project teams, including engineers, architects, and contractors. 
• Percentage of projects completed within the allocated budget.

3. Budgeting And Financial Management:

• Develop and manage the infrastructure budget. 
• Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective use of resources. 
• Secure funding and manage financial risks associated with infrastructure projects.
• Difference between budgeted and actual project costs.

4. Regulatory Compliance And Safety:

• Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations. 
• Implement and monitor safety standards and protocols. 
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance and safety. 
• Timeliness and cost-effectiveness of the procurement process.

5. Resource Management:

• Allocate resources effectively across projects. 
• Manage procurement processes for materials and services. 
• Ensure the availability of skilled personnel for project execution. 
• Number and impact of initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure planning processes.

6. Performance Monitoring And Reporting:

• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to contract terms. 
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for infrastructure projects. 
• Prepare and present regular reports on project status, financial performance, and risk management. 
• Implement corrective actions based on performance analysis. 
• Identify and implement best practices in infrastructure planning and management. 
• Output of project teams relative to their input.

Qualifications / Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree: Typically required in fields such as civil engineering, urban planning, construction management, architecture, or a related field. 
2. Master’s Degree: Often preferred in urban planning, public administration, business administration, or a related field. 
3. Several years (usually 5-10 years) of experience in infrastructure planning, civil engineering, urban planning, or a related field. 
4. Demonstrated experience (often 3-5 years) in a supervisory or management role, overseeing teams and projects. 
5. Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. 
6. Experience working with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to infrastructure and urban planning.
