As Intern - Connected Flow Implementation & Material Planning you will support the Materials Planning and Execution (MP&E) function. You will optimize material flow, supply chain processes and SAP utilization to achieve on-time delivery, competitive inventory levels and alignment with customer requirements.
You will gain hands-on experience in planning, coordination, and execution of materials strategies while collaborating across multiple functions.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist in Connected Flow Implementation: Support the deployment of Connected Flow initiatives, including process mapping, data analysis, and system integration to enhance material flow efficiency
  • Material Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with production, sales, purchasing and suppliers to schedule the receipt of materials and ensure alignment with production demand
  • Data Management and Reporting: Update databases, track raw material readiness, and edit routine documents to maintain accurate and actionable information
  • Procurement and Expediting: Follow up on procurement activities, expedite critical materials, and ensure timely delivery to meet production schedules
  • Problem Solving and Resolution: Learn how to evaluate and resolve manufacturing material quality and supply issues, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively
  • Inventory Optimization: Assist in maintaining competitive inventory levels through effective supply chain management and SAP utilization
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface with various teams to ensure the shop has the necessary materials and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements
  • Project Support: Contribute to the development and implementation of e-sourcing plans to reduce cost and cycle time

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering field, preferably in Management Engineering
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, expecially Excel
  • Fluent in Italian and good level of English
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights
  • Clear Thinker: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Passion for technology, willingness to learn from others
  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
  • Results-Oriented: Motivated, focused on achieving goals, and able to perform effectively in ambiguous situations
