English Teacher

SEK Ciudalcampo International School is seeking to incorporate a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our Modern Languages Department. The selected candidate will play a key role in promoting the development of linguistic and communication skills that foster meaningful, global, and international learning experiences. Mission

To inspire students through the teaching of English Language and Literature, encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and intercultural understanding in line with SEK Education Group’s educational principles and the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy.

Main Responsibilities

• Teach English Language Acquisition and English Language & Literature to Secondary (ESO/MYP) and Baccalaureate (LOMLOE/IB DP) students.
• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that promote active learning and student participation.
• Manage the preparation of Baccalaureate certificates and related academic documentation.
• Serve as a tutor, providing guidance and support to students in their academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum design, interdisciplinary projects, and professional development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Licenciatura in English Philology or a related field.
• Master’s Degree in Secondary Education (Máster del Profesorado).
• Previous experience teaching English at secondary or Baccalaureate level; IB experience will be highly valued.
• English proficiency: C2 level (native or near-native command).
• Basic IT literacy for integrating digital tools and educational platforms into classroom learning.
• Positive, flexible, and student-centered teaching approach, with enthusiasm for innovative methodologies.

Contract And Schedule

• Type of contract: Permanent.
• Work schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 17:00.
• Location: SEK Ciudalcampo International School (San Sebastián de los Reyes -Madrid).

Start date: Immediate.
