The overall scope and purpose of this job is to perform quality tasks with product, putting away product, picking product (filling orders), preparing product for shipment, general housekeeping, completing appropriate paperwork, operating equipment safely, and loading and unloading trucks and containers of product in accordance with Company policy.

Responsibilities

  • Performs internal testing, internal checks, and cosmetic inspections.
  • Basic mechanical skills and be able to use basic tools like Allen wrenches, nut drivers, Phillips and slotted screw drivers.
  •  Able to lift at least 50 pounds and be willing to work in a non climate controlled environment part of the time. 
  • Must be able to unload shipping containers by hand.
  • Inspect product (tools) for any defects before we ship to our customers
  • Warranty and repair work for our customers as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience

  • Strong mathematical and computer skills
  • Must be able to comprehend and retain internal and regulatory requirements
  • Must be able to handle physical, repetitive work and be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours a day
  • Must be able to distinguish between part numbers and sizes
  • Must understand and follow the quality policy and procedures
  • Must be able to use micrometers and calipers
  • Minimum 6-12 months of previous material handling experience or equivalent knowledge
  • Read, write and speak Spanish and English fluently
  • Willing to work overtime on the weekdays and weekends.
