Job Title: Supply Chain Manager - Pumps & Valves
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role
Salary: £57,000 + depending on experience
What You’Ll Be Doing:
- Leading a team of buyers to deliver to quality, schedule and cost requirements against strategic objectives and programme requirements
- Leading supplier collaboration through strategic development and risk mitigation implementation
- Proactively identifying and capitalising on opportunities to achieve cost and schedule efficiencies
- Managing Supplier Relationships, promoting our strategic and collaborative behaviours
- Actively managing supplier performance to pre-empt issues, enabling rapid recovery and ensuring consistent delivery success
- Providing weekly and monthly metrics to support discussions with seniors on supplier performance
- Engaging with stakeholders to gain buy in to functional and supplier strategies
Your Skills And Experiences:
- Proven experience in supply chain management within a complex project environment
- Comprehensive experience in managing teams, leading business operations, and driving executive-level initiatives
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively guide, influence, and negotiate across diverse business environments
- MCIPS or equivalent level, relevant professional qualification
- Flexible and willing to travel supplier sites as required by business needs

The Pumps & Valves team
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Pumps and Valves Procurement Team where you will lead a team of procurement professionals who are responsible for the contracting and delivery of information, products and services to quality, cost and schedule requirements across Submarine Programmes. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
