As a Senior DevOps Infrastructure Engineer in Project Hafnia, you will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and optimizing our scalable container orchestration architecture. This includes working with orchestration platforms to create hybrid environments combining native cloud services with horizontally scalable clusters. Your expertise in resource optimization, multi-node and multi-GPU management, and high-performance computing will be critical in delivering a robust AI infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices, compliance, and operational excellence.

Your Owned Perimeter:
As a Senior DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer, you will be the main point of reference for:
- Designing and building robust containerized environments, balancing native cloud services with cluster-based deployments across platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar.
- Deploying and optimizing high-performance AI workloads across multi-node, multi-GPU environments for training and inference.
- Developing strategies for resource allocation, autoscaling, and cost-efficient compute.
- Implementing monitoring, logging, and alert systems to ensure reliability and fast recovery.
- Acting as the bridge between cloud engineering, ML developers, and infrastructure teams, providing guidance and troubleshooting expertise.

Dream Technical Skills:
- Container orchestration mastery – advanced experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar platforms, including design, deployment, and production-grade management.
- Container expertise – Docker skills, including image creation, registry management, and performance optimization.
- Resource balancing – deep understanding of memory, CPU, and GPU allocation in large-scale AI workloads.
- Strategic vision – monitoring, autoscaling, and maintaining system health for high-demand workloads.
- Parallel and GPU compute experience – familiarity with multi-GPU environments and frameworks such as Ray or similar.
- DevOps mindset – scripting and automation to maintain evolving infrastructure with minimal manual intervention.
Expected Experience Or Equivalent:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in container orchestration, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Experience managing large-scale, compute-intensive environments.
- Track record of balancing cost efficiency and performance when scaling cloud and GPU resources.
- Experience supporting ML, cloud, and data engineering teams in production environments.
