1. Identify vendors, due diligence, onboarding etc.
2. Regular monitoring of vendor performance by meeting and addressing pain points.
3. Dealing with National and International existing and futuristic vendors.
4. Will facilitate interaction to resolve issues if any between the company and vendors.
Stake Holders
Internal
- Work closely with Plant SPOCs, Category Buyers, Head – TCD, Head of Maintenance to achieve the ordering within the estimated cost, approved budget and time schedule.
- Interaction with Engineering, PMCG, MAAS and other departments for dealing with day-to-day commercial/Technical issues, Vendor assessment and contract closures.
External
- Interact with existing partners and vendor to reinforce working relationship, strengthen collaboration, track project deliveries and mitigate risks if any.
- Interact with a variety of potential suppliers/ vendors/ partners and build strategic relationship with them with the objective of leveraging them for business advancement in the future.
Experiences:
General Experience
More than 10 years of relevant work experience in Sales / Service / Business Development in equipment purchase and contracts.
Strong Experience Required in client/vendor facing role, Vendor Development, Sourcing, Evaluation, Rating, etc. Vendor Stakeholder Management & Handholding, Project Monitoring : with Vendors and internal stakeholders, Contract Administration / Management including sub-contracts, Contract Formulation, Contract closure after settlement of payment, addressing all disputes and other issue (i.e. punch points, statutory compliance etc.), Dispute resolution, Arbitration & claim settlement. Reports & MIS, Audit (both internal & external) Subordinate team management, Compliance to SOPs, etc.
Technical Experience
► Experience of Sales / Service / Vendor facing role is necessary.
► Exposure to strategic sourcing processes, negotiating terms and conditions of high impact supply or service contracts, and managing vendor or supplier relationships.
► Experience in working with e-Procurement systems and tools (SAP, Ariba, other financial reporting tools, contract management tool, reverse auctions, etc.).
► Knowledge of the overall purchasing process, strategic sourcing, and procurement related systems and supplier relationship management.
► Hands-on experience in executing contracts and entering into commercial transactions for Projects / Equipment / Consumables / Estimation Engineering.
► Exposure to bidding and estimation activities. Commercial understanding of the business drivers and their commercial implications"
