We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Production Services Middleware Messaging to join our Technology Services Group team. This role is located in Chennai,TN.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to produce and deploy MQ messaging configuration deployments that are reliable, resilient, and secure. 
• Continuously monitor the health, performance, and stability of messaging queues and other MQ components. This includes responding to incidents, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems promptly.
• Conduct root cause analysis in partnership with application and infrastructure teams, for production issues and implement long-term solutions to prevent reoccurrence. Recommend improvements and pursue completion of follow ups.
• Drive improvements in plant monitoring to deliver proactive support within a high-quality, high-speed setting.
• Implement and maintain security enhancements, software upgrades, and fixes, to existing MQ platforms.
• Leverage change management procedures to achieve a successful and low-risk production rollout.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on processes, and runbooks for consistent operational practices.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• 7+ years Hands-On experience in a Production Services role or similar managing IBM MQ deployments across various platforms such as Appliances, Unix Servers and Containers.
• 7+ years of strong technical experience in Transport Layer Security, Certificate management, LDAP onboarding, Service Account management.
• Knowledge about MQIPT, Network Connectivity management and experience in working MQ external connectivity management is a plus.
• Experience and Knowledge on MQ clusters, High Availability and Disaster Recovery setups.
• Experience in Monitoring tools like Prometheus, Splunk and Moog or Equivalent is an advantage.
• Experience with change and incident management, with strong problem solving and communication skills. 
• Proficient in using JIRA, Confluence or similar for Project tracking and Document management.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
