Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Gothenburg

Are you passionate about developing cutting-edge embedded systems that make a real difference? Consilium Safety Group is looking for an Senior Embedded Software Engineer to strengthen our agile, cross-functional R&D team in Gothenburg.

Your Role

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining embedded software for both new and existing fire and gas detection products.

You Will:

• Collaborate with a team of curious and supportive colleagues on exciting technology projects.
• Work on both large-scale development and smaller customer-driven product updates.
• Define software requirements based on system needs.
• Contribute to architecture, design, and system improvements.

At Consilium, innovation drives everything we do. We seek forward-thinking individuals eager to develop pioneering solutions while prioritizing safety and security. Our Gothenburg R&D team, consisting of around 40 members, collaborates closely with development teams across Europe.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in electronics, computer science, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems and electronic product development.
• Proficiency in C++, Linux, and software architecture.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Swedish is a plus.
