The regional vice president leads the overall financial operation, administration, and management of the region or facility. The leader provides leadership and direction to develop, recommend, and implement programs, policies and procedures, and standards. Serves as the primary liaison for the financial services division of IU Health. Seeks and recommends potential opportunities for cost containment and analyzes variances from budget plan or anticipated trends. Collaborates with the President and CEO of the region or facility to establish strategic financial, operational, clinical, and administrative goals and policies for the organization.

Reports to: Senior Vice President- Chief Financial Officer

Direct Reports: 11 direct reports 

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g. CPA) preferred.
  • Requires 10+ years of finance and risk management experience.
  • Requires leadership experience in a complex, high-matrix, health care environment.
  • Requires demonstrated experience leading, developing, and managing high volume teams.
  • Requires knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local regulatory agency guidelines and laws.
  • Requires knowledge and experience in finance, operations management, strategic planning, and community relations.
