About the team | Mō te roopu
Data, Analytics & Insights (DA&I) brings together all the work that revolves around IR’s data into one place. DA&I manages, models and interprets the data to give IR a deeper understanding of what is important to the organisation.
Sitting within DA&I, the Data Analytics Practice Development & Delivery (DAPDAD) team accesses a range of data and analytical tools, products and techniques to derive deeper insight into business problems, allowing the creation of bespoke solutions that fulfil business needs.
We utilise and connect IR’s data with relevant external data to create a contextual representation of our customers’ tax relevant affairs. This representation, generated through data analytics and modelling, enables a deeper understanding of behaviour and detection of risks, supporting the wider business to apply right-time interactions and interventions.
As an Intelligence & Insight Specialist in the DAPDAD team, you will be contributing to programmes of work using your data analytics and insights capability. This means you need to have the skills, knowledge, and experiences to be able to work through complex technical problems and support our business partners to get the best outcome. This doesn’t necessarily mean that Intelligence & Insight Specialists in DAPDAD need to have a high level of capability in every technical skill, however proficiency in a number of the technical skills is a requirement.
