Position Summary
Employee will be employed as a Design Senior HVAC engineer in InfraSols Design engineering. Employee shall work on mechanical HVAC design of integrated modular solution and report to and guide the Lead Engineer to a valid HVAC technical solution. Employee shall further develop his/her knowledge in HVAC discipline to be prepared for new up to date solutions. Employee shall be situated in Design engineering department located in Zagreb or Rijeka, Croatia. Employee will be situated in HVAC team lead by Engineering Team Leader. Employee will be responsible for the mechanical HVAC design on dedicated project and will coordinate mechanical HVAC installations with other disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Developing of project conceptual and detailed design
- Based on input data (information, requirements, standards), development of mechanical project documentation: heat load, ventilation, pressurization and noise calculations, CFD analysis, layouts, detail drawings, descriptions, schedules, instructions, material submittals, presentations and marketing materials etc.
- During design follow and take into consideration international, national and company standards and good engineering practices
- Use knowledge and experience to fulfill requirements given by project tasks
- Participating in kick-off meeting, regular project team meetings, and on-site coordination meetings
- Reporting project status to Project Lead Engineer and Project Manager
- Proactive cooperation with all team members during project execution
- Initiating RFI („Request for Information “) in cases where additional clarification is needed
- Development of defined documents according to Document list (DLIST)
- Verification and approval of workshop documentation developed by subcontractors
- Specifying Bill of Material and services required for project execution
- Specification of necessary certificates for materials needed to be ordered
- Supporting suppliers with additional information during bidding phase of sourcing (offer submitting)
- Providing technical approval for received supplier offers
- Providing technical support to subcontractors and installers during production/assembly
- Cooperation with Manufacturing and Site deployment engineering team
- Cooperation with Site Manager during assembly, providing technical solutions to raised issues
- Cooperation with Quality Control during quality control of components/systems and assembly on Site
- Cooperation with Commissioning engineer on testing documentation development
- Participation on internal testing and FAT
Authorities:
- Review and approval of outsourced mechanical design documentation
- Approve or reject technically received supplier offer
- Approve or reject suggested changes by subcontractor on approved workshop documentation
Qualifications
- Master of Mechanical Engineering (preferred in thermodynamics)
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience in collaborative projects and team management
- Software – Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office, MagiCAD, Linear, Autodesk CFD (optional), 6Sigma – preferred, Ansys Fluent (optional), AFT Phantom (optional),
- Other skills – independent, attention to details, problem solving, organization, creativity, team work
