Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in strategy consulting, enterprise sales or business development including 5 years in working with Global SIs.
  • Experience in designing and building go-to-market models with Global SIs.
  • Experience with public cloud solutions and services in the enterprise segment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a technical field.
  • Knowledge of the cloud services landscape and ability to provide industry insights.
  • Proven leadership and persuasion skills with the ability to mentor others.
  • Excellent skills in translating data and trends into strategies and compelling messages.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to conduct partner C-level Officer (CXO) engagements.

About The Job

The Global Strategic Initiatives (GSI) and Consulting Partnerships team within Google Cloud manages strategic relationships with our partners. We are looking for a Global Alliance Lead who can help our partner rapidly scale their worldwide business on Google Cloud. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to the partner in the entire journey of identifying new opportunities, developing capabilities, solutions and service offerings, pursuing go-to-market campaigns, landing wins and delivering customer success.

As a Global Alliance Lead, you will define and execute business development strategy with the partner across the entire range of Google Cloud products and services while at times focusing on a specific solution or product set for a particular market. You will define the solution strategy with our partner, build cross-functional teams, foster critical relationships at the C-level and showcase Google’s technology to our potential customers. You will also work with Google Cloud sales leaders across all markets to ensure productive sales engagement across the globe. Additionally, you will partner with Product, Legal, Compliance and Enablement teams to ensure the success of the Alliance. In this role, you will be leveraging your experience in strategy and sales, demonstrating your technical aptitude and passion for working with partners to transform organisations with Google Cloud technologies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities

  • Engage C-level stakeholders, foster relationships between Google leaders and partner executives across sales and engineering.
  • Develop well thought out business plans with a clear set of priorities, joint initiatives and specific goals for growing pipelines, wins and consumption.
  • Create compelling offerings and go-to-market initiatives with the partner by quantifying opportunities and making a business case for investments, as needed.
  • Define, track and analyze performance against specific measures of success for quantifiable, tangible progress.
  • Collaborate and align with cross-functional stakeholders across both Google and the partner organization for maximum impact and to build a long-term partnership.
