HR Business Partners perform a specialized type of HR work focused on HR consulting to the business. This role focuses on partnering with business to shape the people infrastructure and culture needed to attract, engage, and retain the very best talent. It entails working closely with business leaders to drive HR programs, talent management, employee engagement, performance management, workforce management and compliance. It also involves influencing and driving HR solutions to business, through HR CoEs of talent acquisition, HR shared services, learning and development compensation and benefits, statutory and compliance services. Additionally, HRBPs are tasked with implementing people policies and HR programs for the organization

Assist HR leadership to ensure effective rollout of all organization wide HR initiatives
Providing guidance on employee movements i.e. promotions, salary changes and workforce planning; assist with execution of these activities to ensure timely pipelining of quality talent to meet business needs.
Implementing measures to increase employee morale, motivation and satisfaction (e.g., employee engagement surveys, work lifestyle programs, onboarding programs, diversity and inclusion programs and training etc.) 
Coaching managers and employees through the performance management process
Conducting training sessions for managers to improve employee relations and people skills
Responsible for implementing and coordinating the performance appraisal systems, being the focal point for addressal of all HR related issues and interacting with other HR CoEs to solve employee escalations and conveying specific business requirements. 
Leading and driving all talent management and employee engagement initiatives on ground
Drive compliance with internal policies and procedures, external regulations and information security standards across portfolio
Be the single point of contact for employees and managers for people related dimension. Assist in managing and resolving employee related issues in a timely and effective manner
Assist in the seamless execution of performance management processes Goal Setting, Performance Reviews, Monthly Check-ins, PIPs, IDPs etc.
Support audits and ensure accurate record keeping and documentation
Assist in preparing HR reports and analytics to support decision making

Master's degree from an accredited university or college 4 - 6 years
