Job Description
The Center for Public Health Initiatives at NSU (CPHI) is hiring a Full-time Program Coordinator. This position will support the development and day-to-day management of workforce development programs and education and training programs related to public health.
The incumbent will:
- Provide coordination and support for programs or projects focused on workforce development, public health education and training programs
- Apply knowledge of education and training best practices
- Conduct program planning and development
- Engage in program implementation aligned with priorities, policies and procedures
- Provides training for staff and other collaborators
- Contributes to program evaluations and reporting
- Contribute to policy development and analysis
- Performs research and analysis on specific issues, as required
- Plans and implements special projects or events
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in public health or education/training
- At least three (3) years of experience coordinating programs
- At least one year of experience supporting workforce development and/or education and/or training programs
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environments
- Knowledge of best practices in program development and management
- Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency with program management tools
- Strong time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage stakeholders

- Training in public health
