This role is based at our Shared Services Marketing Studio located on Cecil St., South Melbourne

As a Studio Team Leader at Spotlight Retail Group, you'll be at the forefront of our internal Marketing Production Studio, driving the creation and development of high-quality print and digital assets. You'll oversee a talented team of designers, graphic artists and finished artists, ensuring timely delivery of a wide range of marketing materials including Catalogues (print and digital), Direct Mail, Press Ads, Point of Sale, OOH, Electronic Direct Mail, Web Assets and animated and static Social Media Content.

What You Will Be Doing

• Team Leadership: Mentor and inspire a team of creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Project Management: Oversee the entire creative process, from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Oversee the Creative process and adherence to Brand Guidelines, maintaining style guides, templates and asset libraries for each brand.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, buying, and production teams to align creative assets with business objectives.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

About You

• Proven ability to coordinate the production of a high volume of marketing assets.
• Resilient and solutions orientated within a deadline driven business.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload for self and others.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of catalogue timelines and schedules along with the annotation and approval processes between a retail studio and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of developing and working within set brand guidelines.
• Previous experience as a graphic or digital designer in an Advertising or Marketing Studio role, preferably with retail experience highly regarded.
• Knowledge of Adobe CC software including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects; and Figma would also be beneficial.
