Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented Entry-Level IT Support Technician to join our team in Mounds View. This role is ideal for a current student or recent graduate of an IT support program who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. The technician will provide front-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for end-users. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues 
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and applications 
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and professional manner 
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary 
• Communicate directly with end-users to understand and resolve technical concerns 
• Maintain accurate IT documentation and inventory records  
• Assist with employee training and provide guidance on IT best practices 
• Support data security and backup protocols

Requirements

Education:

• High School Diploma required
• Current enrollment or recent completion of an Information Technology Support program (or equivalent) from an accredited institution 

Skills & Experience:

• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn 
• Effective verbal and written communication skills 
• Familiarity with Windows-based systems
• A+ certification and exposure to .NET experience are a plus
