As Senior Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility is to drive new business and grow revenue by acquiring and managing retail & ecommerce clients who need fast, reliable, and integrated shipping solutions. You will play a key role in expanding Shipcloud's presence in the market, building long-term relationships with high-profile ecommerce businesses, and influencing the future of parcel logistics.Your Impact

- You will directly contribute to Shipcloud's growth and market leadership across Europe.
- Your expertise and relationships will help establish strategic partnerships that fuel long-term business success.
- By identifying and solving client pain points, you will improve ecommerce operations for retailers and drive higher customer satisfaction.
- Your proactive approach will help shape and improve our sales processes, contributing to the transformation of our organization.
- Identify and acquire new ecommerce and retail clients across Benelux / Germany.
- Build, manage, and grow a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and partnerships.
- Conduct consultative sales conversations to uncover client needs and tailor solutions.
- Present and demo Shipcloud's platform.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals that drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure client success.
- Act as a trusted logistics advisor to ecommerce businesses, understanding their delivery, returns, and customer experience challenges.
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in SaaS, shipping, or logistics services, ideally selling into ecommerce businesses.
- Large professional network within the ecommerce and fulfilment space.
- Deep understanding of ecommerce operations: checkout, delivery expectations, returns management, and customer behavior.
- Familiar with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop, etc.).
- Skilled in consultative selling and problem-solving.
- Strong technical understanding to demo platforms and explain integrations.
- Strong pipeline management skills.
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting: LinkedIn, email outreach, cold calling.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, highly driven by growth, results, and customer satisfaction.
- Fluent in Dutch/German; proficient in English.
