The Quality Documentation Specialist is responsible for managing the site documentation management systems and ensuring all documentation standards, records, SOPs, and documented processes meet company and regulatory requirements. This position will be responsible for writing, implementing and training new or modified quality programs/processes. This role will support documentation and communication of continuous improvement programs such as management of change, corrective & preventive action and customer complaint reporting.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing site documentation management systems to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Writing, implementing, and training new or modified quality programs/processes.
- Supporting continuous improvement programs like management of change (MOC), corrective & preventive action (CAPA), and customer complaint reporting.
- Conducting periodic reviews/audits of documentation systems.
- Leading Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) and training staff.
- Supporting the product release process by reviewing production documents for compliance.
- Facilitating the sharing of ideas and best practices.
Education And Background:
- A B.A./B.S. degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Italian speaking proficiency (English proficiency preferred).
- At least 6 months of experience in a food /pet food manufacturing environment.
- Proficient knowledge of HACCP, cGMPs, and SPC.
- Excellent project management, interpersonal, communication, multitasking, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and SAP.
