Job Summary
Manage the Order to Invoice process within Colgate-Palmolive Best Practice standards (“Essentials”) and partner with local Customer Development Teams (CDTs) to ensure effective order-to-invoice fulfillment. Serve as the primary point of contact for order and delivery communications—primarily with internal customers (e.g., CDO)—requiring excellent communication skills. Own end-to-end order management, troubleshoot delivery issues, process returns, and resolve exceptions/claims within Colgate’s Selling Terms and Conditions. Accountable for customer service performance and on-time delivery for assigned accounts.Responsibilities
- Own the Order to Invoice process in line with CP “Essentials.”
- Build strong internal customer relationships to enable smooth fulfillment.
- Partner with CDTs and Logistics to resolve order and delivery issues.
- Escalate delivery/distribution problems and communicate special requirements to Logistics.
- Enforce sales policies (terms and conditions) and support compliance.
- Analyze returns/refusals with CDTs and follow up execution with Logistics.
- Optimize loads and shipments (e.g., consolidations, plant-direct, pallet-layer efficiencies).
- Use SAP to process orders efficiently and minimize manual touches.
- Prepare weekly/monthly service and cost-to-serve updates for CDTs and CS&L.
- Be accountable for CS KPIs (e.g., Fill Rate, OTD, Perfect Order) and drive corrective actions.
- Operate within Customer Service and Distribution guidelines to optimize service and delivery cost.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business, or related field.
- Experience: 1 year in Customer Service/Order Fulfillment, Planning, Sales, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
- English: Advanced proficiency.
- Platforms/Programs: Advanced Excel and SAP (order processing/fulfillment)
Desired Qualifications
- DOMO for KPI analysis and visualization.
- Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Drive) for collaboration and reporting.
- Proven experience managing the full Order to Invoice cycle.
- Familiarity with delivery appointment scheduling at customer DCs and carrier coordination.
