Job Description
- Ensure the full IKEA food product range is compliant and sellable in Thailand according to national standards and regulations.
- Act as the main point of contact with Thai authorities on product compliance and approvals.
- Report new or updated Thai food market regulations to IKEA of Sweden and relevant stakeholders.
- Secure that Thai food product standards, safety, and labelling requirements are fulfilled for all ranges.
- Work closely with the Country Fulfilment, Sales, and IKEA Food teams to ensure compliant product flow.
- Ensure all IKEA Food products comply with Thai food laws and standards through collaboration with partners and consultants.
- Provide required documents and certificates to warehouse and logistics partners for permits and approvals.
- Update all stakeholders on the latest product specifications, artworks, and certificates from regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Strong communicator with excellent spoken and written English and Thai skills, able to connect well across functions and with authorities.
- At least 2 years’ experience in product compliance, importation, or food-related roles within retail, multi-unit food service, or international organizations.
- Good knowledge of Thai regulations related to product standards and importation of food products.
- Agile, organized, and hands-on — able to think, plan, and execute tasks with a can-do attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and confident in managing reports and documentation.
- Down-to-earth person who lives the IKEA values and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
