We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes tailored to e-commerce and trade sales environments. This role is key in enhancing our ERP's capabilities to meet the complex requirements of B2B and B2C operations, including purchase order processing, credit management, pricing structures, returns, and digital sales channels. The ideal candidate will bring practical knowledge in optimising O2C workflows to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction across diverse sales channels.

As the O2C Subject Matter Expert (SME), you’ll focus on designing solutions that address the unique challenges of managing high-volume, multi-channel sales operations. This includes integrating features to support end-to-end order processing, automated approvals, tailored pricing, and seamless integration with digital commerce platforms. You’ll drive strategic enhancements that keep KCS’s ERP solutions at the forefront of trade and e-commerce functionality, setting new benchmarks for customer experience and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the in-house expert for O2C processes, with a focus on e-commerce, trade sales, and purchase order management. You’ll ensure the ERP system supports essential functions such as credit management, custom pricing structures, returns processing, and seamless B2B/B2C integration.
  • Order and Purchase Processing: Lead the design and optimisation of O2C workflows to handle complex purchase orders, from automated approvals and credit checks to delivery scheduling. You’ll ensure that the ERP efficiently supports bulk order handling, special pricing for trade accounts, and automated reordering.
  • Pricing and Promotions Management: Define ERP functionalities for flexible and scalable pricing models that adapt to different customer segments, discount structures, and promotions. You’ll develop solutions that allow for tiered pricing, volume discounts, and contract-based pricing unique to trade sales.
  • Returns and Credit Management: Establish robust ERP processes to manage returns and credit handling for high-value, high-volume trade accounts and online sales. You’ll create workflows that streamline returns, track reasons for returns, and improve inventory reconciliation to minimise losses.
  • E-Commerce Integration: Work closely on integrating ERP solutions with e-commerce platforms, ensuring real-time synchronisation of product availability, pricing, and order status. You’ll support features like automated order processing, inventory updates, and payment reconciliation across online sales channels.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Sales Teams to gather and interpret specific requirements for O2C enhancements. Your insights will bridge e-commerce and trade sales needs with technical execution, ensuring a robust, flexible solution.
  • Requirement Documentation: Develop precise, detailed documentation for functional and technical requirements. Your specifications will guide development teams to implement effective O2C functionalities, covering everything from trade agreements to delivery schedules.
  • Solution Design and Validation: Partner with product owners and development teams to validate solution designs, ensuring compatibility with complex trade and e-commerce needs. You’ll contribute to the creation of ERP enhancements that streamline workflows for B2B and B2C sales channels.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead UAT activities, involving key users to validate system readiness. You’ll design scenarios that capture the end-to-end O2C lifecycle, including order placement, fulfilment, returns, and customer communications, ensuring readiness for real-world application.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct data analysis to monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement in areas like order accuracy, credit management, sales reporting, and customer retention. Your insights will drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decision-making.
