 COMPENSATION INFORMATION
The salary range(s) represents our good faith estimate for the role at this time. Sr. Administrative Assistant - Pay Range: $ 55,800 - $ 68,350

  Join our team as a Sr. Administrative Assistant!

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sr. Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to designated Executives and assist the Chief of Staff in supporting board-level stakeholder groups. This role requires excellent judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage confidential information. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at balancing competing priorities, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to Executives and committee leadership.
  • Manage complex calendars, travel arrangements, meetings, and expense reports.
  • Support board-level stakeholder groups by coordinating meeting materials, communications, and logistics.
  • Assist the Chief of Staff with board-related projects and documentation (e.g., Standards of Conduct, Annual Assessments).
  • Prioritize and handle multiple competing administrative requests with sound judgment.
  • Act as a liaison with internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining professionalism and discretion.
  • Continuously improve administrative systems and support special projects as needed.

To be successful as the Sr. Administrative Assistant we're looking for:

  • B.A. (or equivalent degree) and 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Comfort functioning in a role that requires a high degree of flexibility with the ability to independently interpret policies and solve non-routine, complex issues under minimal supervision, balanced with willingness to request clarification/assistance when difficulties arise.
  • Flexibility to take on a wide range of responsibilities to support assigned management/department with ability to establish workflow priority based on assessment of tasks and consideration of interdepartmental needs.
  • Aptitude for working in collaborative team environments with a focus on maturity, proactive communication, relationship building skills and resiliency.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and shared collaborative tools such as Sharepoint and/or OneDrive for Office 365)
  • A “Self-starter” mindset that takes initiative to continuously improve processes for ongoing effectiveness of the department and company as a whole.
  • Provide support to the Executives with various projects which will require ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks with the highest levels of professionalism, confidentiality, timely turn-around and client service.
  • Solutions-oriented approach to departmental/company challenges with the ability to identify/analyze scope of challenge, determine approach, compile data and prepare reports and positive-change recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, requiring minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • The ability to coordinate multiple projects with great attention to detail
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality
  • The ability to work under stress and within deadlines, despite interruptions
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in word processing
  • Understanding of and compliance with SPP Policies and Procedures

 Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of the workweek are Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Working extended hours may be required.

Travel Requirement:

  • This position requires moderate travel (approximately 10-15%)
