Job Description

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Geelong team, a close-knit group of passionate professionals who genuinely care about each other and the community we serve. Whether it’s morning coffees, team outings to the local golf course or collaborating on complex cases with a spirit of curiosity and care, the Geelong team is known for its warm, supportive culture and strong multidisciplinary expertise. As a Rehabilitation Consultant here, you’ll be surrounded by colleagues who lift each other up, and you’ll be equipped with tailored training, tools, and mentorship to help you thrive both professionally and personally.

You will also have the opportunity to work across Ballarat & the South West region of Victoria giving you the opportunity to service a diverse caseload, see beautiful surrounds and enjoy the flexibility & autonomy to manage your own day.

Some of your day to day includes:

  • Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks) 
  • Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs and applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to health and work outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals & completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.

We welcome new graduates to apply!  Permanent Full Time position or min Part Time 4 days.

Qualifications

You'll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below!

  • A qualification in Occupational Therapy or Osteopathy
  • Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to obtain.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!
  • Excellent Time management and organizational skills
  • Empathy, paired with genuine compassion and kindness, makes all the difference in this role.
  • Patience and resilience - essential for navigating challenges and supporting clients through their recovery journey
  • A current VIC Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must!
