The Role:

Simple Technology Solutions is seeking a Principal Data, AI/ML Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in designing and implementing innovative solutions that leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics to drive business growth. 

The Principal Data, AI/ML Engineer at STS will: 

• Collaborate extensively with stakeholders to deeply understand business requirements, translating them into robust technical solutions that advance the enterprise's objectives.
• Spearhead the design and development of AI/ML projects, crafting intricate yet scalable data pipelines, model training mechanisms, and deployment strategies.
• Assume responsibility for the meticulous oversight of data lifecycle management, ensuring seamless collection, preprocessing, and quality assurance to uphold data integrity.
• Pioneering the development of machine learning models, from prototyping to rigorous training and validation, employing state-of-the-art algorithms and methodologies.
• Continually refine and optimize model performance, utilizing sophisticated techniques to meet and exceed predefined benchmarks.
• Implement robust data handling protocols and security measures, adhering meticulously to industry standards and internal policies.
• Forge strong partnerships with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and executives, orchestrating cohesive project execution across teams.
• Provide diligent oversight and support for deployed AI/ML solutions, ensuring their sustained performance and reliability.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth while serving as a beacon of technical excellence.
• Maintain an active presence within the AI/ML community, staying at the forefront of emerging technologies, research, and industry best practices. 

Education And Experience:

Required

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Over 15 years of hands-on experience in architecting AI/ML solutions, demonstrating a deep understanding of diverse machine learning algorithms and methodologies.
• Strong command of programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or Scala, with a proven track record of building robust and scalable solutions.
• In-depth familiarity with leading AI/ML frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn, leveraging them to develop cutting-edge models and solutions.
• Strong SQL abilities and experience with massive relational database systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka, harnessing their power to manage and analyze vast datasets effectively.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is highly valued for this role, particularly in leveraging their capabilities to deploy and scale AI/ML solutions.  
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and related tools is advantageous for effective project management and collaboration.
