What Do We Need:
We seek an ambitious individual for a niche role on microbiology team. This person will support our Nutrilite business line, offering support for microbiology testing and method development, with a background in either foods and/or nutritional supplements environment.

Longer term, this role will offer you the opportunity to grow your career in microbiology, being exposed to a broad range of business lines and products in a dynamic environment. This role will have you working closely with Product Development partners, providing microbiology expertise to ensure micro standards are aligned with business standards and regulations around the globe. You will also offer lab testing support for product development and stability samples that keep teams on track, and provide insights needed for continued progress. Additionally, you will offer your expertise in microbiology developing new methods, and reviewing existing methods to support ongoing changes needed in Quality. This is an important and critical role on the team, ensuring our Amway products continue to meet the high standards we are known for around the globe.
What’S Special About This Team:
This team of 4 within the broader Skin Science and Biology teams, support Microbiology activites in support of new product development. Their testing ensures safety and product stability for home care, personal care, skin care, and nutrition business lines. You will work collaboratively within the R & D science community, partnering with experts in agricultural sciences, product design & formulation, clinical & consumer testing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Your work will ensure we maintain our reputation for high quality products that consumers want to buy, and our Amway Business Owners want to sell. Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology or a related field
- Minimum 2 – 3 years microbiology lab experience, in a food or nutritional supplement environment
- Proficiency in a range of Microbiology testing, including: RT-PCR, qPCR, Flow Cytometry
- Familiar with USP, FDA-BAM, AOAC, and ISO microbial methodologies
- Experience in method validation and verification & equipment qualification
- Strong aseptic technique
Skills to be Successful in the Role:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, maintaining document work and keeping accurate records
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to contribute Product Development teams offering insights for successful outcomes
- Self-motivated with the ability to adapt and work both collaboratively and independently
