Job Description
We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and reliable Laundry Attendant to join the team at Pullman Cairns International!
In this vital behind-the-scenes role, you’ll help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and presentation our guests expect. You’ll work closely with multiple departments to ensure a smooth and efficient laundry operation that supports both our guest and team needs.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Sort, wash, dry, and iron incoming linen to maintain consistent quality and cleanliness
- Operate industrial laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washers, dryers, and the ironer
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of linen trolleys for housekeeping each day
- Log and manage linen for food & beverage outlets and team uniforms
- Maintain a clean and organised laundry area, while ensuring room attendant chemical supplies are stocked

Qualifications
- 6+ months of previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is an advantage (but not required)
- This is a physically demanding role and requires you to be physically fit and able to perform the role requirements.
- Good verbal communication skills for liaising with various departments.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
