What We’Re Looking For:

Simpli.fi is currently seeking a highly skilled and pragmatic UX Designer to join our product team based in Fort Worth, TX. The ideal candidate must have a strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing complex user interfaces and workflows preferably for B2B, enterprise, or SaaS software. You should be passionate about translating intricate business logic into intuitive user experiences. You'll need to be comfortable working collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver a cohesive and high-quality product.

What You’Ll Be Doing:

As a UX Designer on the Product Team, you will:

• Design, document, and iterate on complex end-to-end user workflows for our core software platform.
• Translate business requirements and technical constraints into elegant and practical user interfaces.
• Lead the design lifecycle from concept sketches, user flows, and wireframes to interactive prototypes and final high-fidelity mockups.
• Conduct impactful user research (e.g., interviews, usability testing, A/B testing) to validate designs and inform strategic product decisions.
• Actively contribute to and maintain our component-based design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers throughout the agile development process to ensure accurate implementation and high design quality.

YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional UX/UI design experience, with a significant focus on B2B, SaaS, or enterprise software. However, we would consider candidates with strong consumer facing application designs as well.
• A proven track record of designing solutions for data-heavy applications and complex business processes.
• Expert proficiency with a modern design tool (e.g., Figma is preferred).
• Exceptional ability to communicate design rationale and influence product decisions across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working iteratively within an Agile development framework.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver production-ready design assets (e.g., components, specs, prototypes) to engineering teams.

You'll get bonus points if you have experience in:

• Hands-on experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
• The ability to implement and test design system components or build out UI mockups for engineers to "wire up" to the back-end logic.
• Designing data visualization dashboards and complex reporting interfaces.
• Adhering to and designing for web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
