Job Description
This role is onsite 3 days per week out of our Abbott Park Campus; relocation assistance is not available at this time
The Supply Chain Data Analyst is a key contributor of Supply Chain data analytics. The analyst synthesizes and leverages data-sets based on applied modeling and analysis of data sources with process knowledge of all the key processes in supply chain, particularly around planning, distribution and logistics and its interdependencies. The Supply Chain Data Analyst presents results to management and business partners to support high-impact business value decisions. Engages with the business and IT on (data) governance to make sure that Data and Business Processes are aligned, with high-performance and agile processes as result. Closely collaborates and builds effective relationships with team and business partners to understand the data and related improvement needs of the business. Continuously searches for innovative ways to drive awareness on data driven opportunities and will be recognized as a key member in the analytics/data science area within supply chain domain.
Responsibilities
- Passionate and maintains pragmatic approach to all data conclusions and solutions in large datasets
- Effectively analyzes diverse sources of data to achieve targeted outcome
- Apply modeling concepts to solve medium-complex business questions
- Support the development of an “analytical capability” and “big data” concepts to become the business expert in these areas
- Closely collaborates with IT and business partners to set priorities and provides support on Business Data Management (Governance)
- Translates large data sets, analysis and complex models in usable, effective and presentable data to key stakeholders to drive business improvement opportunities
- Effectively participate in cross-functional project teams
- Participate in production of innovative analytic solutions that drive existing and changing business processes and business strategies

Qualifications
Bachelor’s level required (Master level preferred) preferably in applied mathematics; Business Research; Operational research or Supply Chain
Understanding of statistical and predictive modeling concepts
Comfortable with complex and big data sets
2-3 years’ work experience in a similar environment is preferred
Excellent helicopter view as well as deep dive analytical skills are required
Strong cross functional collaboration with supply chain users is essential
Working knowledge of statistical analysis environments and BI tools and data mining frameworks.
Excellent written and oral English communication skills are required
