Job Description

Bosch Engineering is a leading provider of calibration for a variety of niche gasoline & hybrid powered automotive customers. Within the UK we offer support in all stages of vehicle development within EMS and ESP systems. This ranges from in-vehicle & desktop calibration of advanced management systems for active safety (ESP, ABS, TCS) and engine management (emissions, performance & fuel economy).

Being based at the MIRA Technology Park in Warwickshire, our engineering students support across all departments and play a valuable & integral part in day-to-day work.

Daily Activities Include:

  • Supporting engineers in various stages of software & calibration development
  • Support of calibration data gathering & analysis (Emissions, in-vehicle, and application testing)
  • On-site customer interaction & support
  • Basic mechanical tasks & vehicle maintenance
  • Preparing vehicle for testing
  • Creation of data analysis tools
  • Support and creation of initial calibration strategies

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Degree level Engineering student or similar
  • Excellent communication & intercultural skills
  • Fundamental understanding of internal combustion engines & vehicle dynamics
  • Full driving license
  • Keen interest in the automotive industry
  • Fluent in English

Desired Skills:

  • MATLAB / coding experience
  • Confident in taking an active and creative approach
  • Previous working experience
  • Proficient in MS Office applications

Additional Information

This is a 12-month internship beginning in July 2026. This position is open to undergraduate students who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their course.

Location: you will be based at the Mira, Nuneaton office.

Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to participate in a face-to-face interview by the hiring team and/or an online assessment centre.

You must have the right to live and work in the UK when you start your placement and for the full duration of your placement. Please note your placement must be directly relevant to your course to comply with visa requirements.
