Job Description

As a Customer Due Diligence Specialist you will play a vital role in ensuring the Company’s regulatory compliance by performing customer due diligence checks, investigations, documentation analysis and interacting with customers regarding source of funds.

We are keen to welcome candidates who are knowledgeable and enthusiastic to join our fast paced Customer Due Diligence team.

We are seeking individuals interested in compliance who can demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, competence in completing investigatigatory work and are passionate about  providing a quality customer experience.

From your first day, relevant training will be provided on all aspects of the role whilst giving you the tools and knowledge to perform complex reviews.

The position is being offered on a full time basis and will require a flexible approach to working hours with a rolling rota of any five days from seven, including Public Holidays.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
• Keen eye for identifying money laundering indicators.
• Ability to analyse complex situations, think critically and devise effective solutions.
• Previous experience in Fraud/AML/Due Diligence/Customer Service roles is advantageous but not essential.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is a requirement.
• Capability to work well independently performing in-depth reviews, and with others as part of a large compliance team.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, both verbally and in writing.
• Adaptable to change, learning new skills and embracing continuous improvement.

Additional Information

• Conducting due diligence research, adverse checks and information analysis in accordance with established procedures.
• Completing due diligence reports to a high standard, concisely outlining all of the relevant information located and known.
• Navigating public databases and internal systems to identify and verify due diligence information.
• Investigating and summarising customer documentation relating to source of funds and proof of wealth.
• Identifying and escalating risks at the earliest opportunity.
• Interacting directly with customers regarding source of funds.
• Reviewing customer contacts to find the correct solutions and provide a seamless customer experience.
