Job Description

Our business offers multiple lending products and we are in the midst of transforming our lending business driving best in class consumer and agent experiences. In this Senior Product Manager - Temporary role, you will have a unique opportunity to define, shape, and deliver on strategic initiatives that form the technical backbone of our lending platform. Your initial focus will be on the critical data integrations with our partner banks, ensuring the seamless and accurate flow of information required to underwrite, originate, and fund loans.

You will collaborate tightly with a team of researchers, designers and engineers to scale our consumer experience through new feature development and rapid experimentation. This role is highly visible and reports results regularly to senior and executive leadership.

We’re looking for a driven, self-starting product manager to work alongside the existing team to drive and execute on strategic priorities. You’ll have responsibility to drive growth for our business in loan origination volume, pull through, conversion, etc.

This is a temporary role for approximately six months.  There is a possibility of conversion to full-time employment.  

What You'Ll Do

  • Platform Integration & Delivery: Own the product strategy and development for all third-party bank partner integrations. This entails understanding the entire lifecycle of loan application and enrollment, defining API requirements and data mapping, and managing ongoing performance and enhancements. You will be the central point of contact for ensuring data integrity, system reliability, and scalability between our ecosystem and our partners.
  • Execution: Assume accountability for carrying out intricate initiatives from their inception to continually refining established features and user experiences. Collaborate with the cross functional team to deliver great products. 
  • Partnerships: Cultivate dependable internal and external relationships, particularly with Achieve Engineering and the technical and product teams at our partner banks. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining clear, detailed documentation, managing communication, and aligning roadmaps to ensure successful and efficient collaboration
  • Roadmap Development: Independently propel and conceptualize new additions to the roadmap, demonstrating ingenuity and innovation while garnering a high level of confidence from the management team.

Qualifications

What You’Ll Bring

  • Experience with lending and origination is highly desirable
  • 6-8 years of experience in Product Management, with a significant focus on managing complex system integrations, API-based products, and data-heavy platforms
  • Experience creating clear API documentation, defining intuitive data schema, and building products that are reliable and easy to integrate
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements and constraints into clear, concise documentation for both technical and business audiences
  • Ownership of success metrics, from definition to implementation and monitoring, primarily to ensure data fidelity between systems
  • Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a structured and rigorous thought process
  • Ability to build iteratively & ship quickly with great personal organization and a long history of effectively managing multiple priorities & personal organization
  • Solid understanding of key metrics and how digital customer acquisition works across within the loan origination process
  • College degree, preferably in business or technology field of study

Salary Range: $75.00 to $100.00 per hour + benefits.
