Job Description

  • Contributes to the overall goals, policies, strategies and direction of Miltenyi Biotec;
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets according to regional/project requirements;
  • Recommends sales programs and sets short and long-term goals within assigned territories to accomplish the goal;
  • Manage capital sales leads cycle by account and align with annual budget;
  • Actively develop sales opportunities for Imaging Instrument as ISS (Imaging Sales Specialist);
  • Prepare and share to sales manager by weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and forecast to make sure the sales performance is on the track;
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas of opportunity and need, and formulate plans to capture the opportunity and deal with problems;
  • Supervise Technical Sales Consultants, Hire and maintain an effective sales team;
  • Provide regular and on-going feedback (formal and informal) to Technical Sales Consultants to support effective development and operations;
  • Sales territory management by analyzing distributors action and sales result;
  • Negotiating contracts with prospective clients in assigned territory or product lines to make the deal
  • Helping distributor partners to determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations to fulfill the sales target;
  • Under the company's overall planning principle, actively manage/coordinate/mobilize regional agents/distributors and other sales resources, carry out/arrange regular product knowledge training for agents in the region, provide guidance, to achieve steady business growth;
  • Request promotion tool to marketing team by providing the feedback and situation from assigned territory/market to capture the sales opportunity in coordination with marketing team;
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team, supporting the goals and strategies;
  • Cooperate with the technical support department to undertake the technical guidance of some product experimentation;
  • Gather the competitors’ intelligence and market trend and share with team;
  • Maintaining client records and sharing to sales team utilizing CRM;
  • Other affairs arranged by the company due to business needs.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years working experience within life science or relevant industry working experience (Immunology / Imaging business preferable) with outstanding performance; Hands on experience within a lab environment preferred;
  • At least bachelor's degree or above, major in biology-related or medical-related discipline; MS preferred;
  • Distributor management experience preferred;
  • People management or relevant experience preferred;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills across functional departments;
  • Integrity and honest, self-motivated and capable of stress management;
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics;
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, evidence of insurance/ insurability;
  • Excellent English of both oral and written.
