The role
Reporting to the Senior Event Manager, the Event Administrator will provide support and assistance to the Event Management team, specifically in regard to health, safety and risk processes for Crown events, with additional event administrative support as required.
This role is responsible for coordinating and managing the supply of paperwork in support of CrownSAFE procedures for the Crown Event Managers. This includes working closely with Event Managers on event requirements, identifying risks, communicating effectively with clients and contractors, collaborating on tailored risk assessments and ensuring all licences, certificates, permits and inductions are correctly documented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify risks within events and manage accordingly during the event coordination process.
- Ensure deadlines are met in lead up to each event for receipt of all Health & Safety documentation, revision and being deemed sufficient.
- Manage external suppliers ensuring OH&S compliance, floor plan approval and contractor induction takes place.
- Liaise with security as to contractor log and property access, check security bookings.
- Act as the main contact for event and conference internal customers on behalf of Crown for Health & Safety matters and escalate as required.
- Respond to all internal customer queries within a 24-hour time frame.
- Review and approve invoices for payment promptly.
About You
- Proven experience working in a busy administrative position.
- Excellent communication skills and be able to build stgrong relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to manage heavy workloads.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft office suite of products.
- Experience with event health & safety coordination within a hotel or convention centre environment would be desirable.
