Senior Technical Writer

We are looking for a highly technical writer to join our team in Bangalore to create end-user documentation that enables the installation and administration of the JFrog Platform

As a Technical Writer you will...

• Meet with SMEs, Product Managers, Developers and other stakeholders to understand technical information and product specifications
• Develop and maintain user-friendly documentation for the installation, administration and use of JFrog products ensuring accuracy and clarity, including, API documentation, technical specifications, YAML and JSON files, and more 
• Test and validate the accuracy of the sample code as documented

As a Technical Writer you need...

• 7+ years of experience as a technical writer for software development company, preferably for enterprise software companies.
• Native english speaker, or english at a native level
• Experience writing documentation for a technical audience, installation guides, REST APIs, and Release Notes 
• Experience working in public clouds including AWS, Google Cloud and Azure. Ability to install and configure in these environments
• Able to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to teamwork
• Ability to work accurately, quickly, and with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of DevOps principles, processes, and tools (advantage)
• Experience working in an Agile development environment with rapidly changing priorities (advantage)
• Experience in documenting scripts (advantage)
• Experience working on Paligo, Fluid Topics or equivalent tools (Advantage
• Hands-on experience in documenting DevOPS products, familiarity with YAML and JSON are a big plus
