Help us use technology to make a big green dent in the universe!
Kraken powers some of the most innovative global developments in energy.
We’re a technology company focused on creating a smart, sustainable energy system. From optimising renewable generation, creating a more intelligent grid and enabling utilities to provide excellent customer experiences, our operating system for energy is transforming the industry around the world in a way that benefits everyone.
It’s a really exciting time in energy. Help us make a real impact on shaping a better, more sustainable future.
We are building out a world-class Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to support our rapid global growth. We’re looking for a high-calibre FP&A Analyst with a background in investment banking, private equity, or top-tier In house strategy/finance roles. This is a rare chance to move from advisory into operating, where you’ll help shape the trajectory of one of the most ambitious multinational SaaS platforms in the market. You’ll be in the engine room of strategic decision-making, with daily exposure to senior leadership and a clear path to accelerated career growth while at the same time making a big green dent in the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Modelling: Build and maintain and operate complex, dynamic financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and valuation analysis.
  • Performance Analysis: Drive deep analysis of business performance (ARR growth, churn, customer economics, unit costs) and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Executive Materials: Prepare high-quality analysis and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with commercial, product, and operations leaders to align financial outcomes with strategic initiatives.
  • Operational Excellence: Continuously refine reporting, metrics, and KPIs to improve transparency, accountability, and decision-making across a multinational business.
  • Partnering with the wider finance team: Update data inputs into the model from the wider finance team

About You

  • Background: 2–4 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, or top-tier corporate finance/FP&A.
  • Technical Strength: Exceptional Excel and modelling skills
  • Analytical Rigor: Ability to distil complex data into clear insights and recommendations; comfortable dealing with ambiguity and incomplete data.
  • Commercial Mindset: Pragmatic, curious, and comfortable challenging assumptions to get to the right answer.
  • Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; able to create board-ready materials.
  • Drive: Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work at the centre of one of the fastest-growing SaaS businesses with operations across multiple regions.
  • Exposure to complex, multinational finance challenges
  • Competitive compensation including base, bonus, and equity participation.
  • A culture of high standards, collaboration, and ownership.
