Job Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst supports the strategic sourcing and procurement department by improving the efficiency of procurement and supply chain operations. This role requires a strong understanding of Information Technology products (hardware/software) and services, commodity cost structures, spend analysis, and planning methodologies to drive operational improvements and cost optimization. The analyst will be responsible for administering core sourcing and procurement activities with a focus on technology sourcing and spend analytics. This includes preparing, processing, and distributing purchase orders and reports for internal stakeholder supply chains across multiple departments, including but not limited to AEG Digital Services, AEG Presents, AEG Facilities, AEG Sports, LA Galaxy, and Crypto.com Arena.

Essential Functions

  • Sourcing & Procurement: Collaborates with internal IT and Digital Services teams to review and assess hardware and software purchase requests. Research product specifications and vendor options, creates and issues purchase orders, and manages procurement tickets in ServiceNow to ensure timely fulfillment. Analyzes spend data to identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Technology, Procurement & Tracking: Updates procurement transactions for operational hardware, software, and IT services. Maintains and updates tracking tools including Adobe Purchase Tracker, Microsoft Reservation Tracker, Domain Renewal Tracker with cost breakdowns, and License Renewal & Cost Breakdown Tracker for Parallels, Adobe, Microsoft, Lucid, and AutoCAD. Catalogs license orders and serial keys (e.g., Snagit), and ensures timely updates to software renewal agreements. Coordinates with IT and Finance to align purchases with budget and compliance requirements.
  • Spend Analysis & Reporting: Conducts detailed spend analysis across hardware, software, and IT services to identify cost-saving opportunities and procurement trends. Develops and maintains dashboards and reports that track budget adherence, supplier performance, and category-level spend. Supports quarterly business reviews and AEG Business Unit reporting with insights derived from procurement data.
  • Department Operations: Participates in sourcing initiatives and special projects aimed at maximizing total cost of ownership and ROI. Supports process reengineering, cost containment, and the development of scorecards and realization reporting protocols.
  • Vendor Engagement: Evaluates procurement workflows and recommends process improvements. Coordinates with technical teams to resolve supplier issues and supports Purchasing Management in negotiations and contract modifications. Monitors supply chain performance and escalates concerns to leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year)
  • A minimum of 3 years of equivalent experience in sourcing and or procurement role.
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
  • Sound working knowledge of procurement and MRP principles, techniques, and policies
  • Advanced technical skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, utilization of 3rd party eProcurement and eSourcing systems, various Industry and Market analysis software products, and utilization of partner / supplier order and inventory management systems
  • Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Ability to perform assignments that are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity

Pay Scale: $69,000 - $84,337

Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
