At MNTN, we put our people first, full stop. This allows our company culture to be defined by our team members and their shared values, like trust, ambition, quality, radical honesty, and compassionate leadership. It’s why we all really love working for the Hardest Working Software in Television™ (and also why we were named one of Ad Age’s Best Places To Work in 2024.)
We pride ourselves on bringing unrivaled performance and simplicity to Connected TV advertising. Our self-serve technology makes running TV ads as easy as search and social, helping brands drive measurable conversions, revenue, site visits, and more. It’s what led MNTN to being named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies in 2023. You can learn more about us and everything we do by visiting https://mountain.com/.
We’re committed to innovation that empowers, not replaces. At MNTN, AI is a tool for growth, enhancing efficiency while keeping a people-first approach. Our goal is to streamline workflows and drive new solutions—without compromising the human element that makes our company great.
So if wanting to do more, own more, and make a bigger impact comes naturally to you, then you may be the person we're looking for to join us in our next stage of growth.
At MNTN, we’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Attribution squad—the team behind Verified Visits™, our proprietary attribution system that helps brands finally answer the age-old marketing question: “Did this actually work?” Spoiler: it did, and you’ll be leading the squad that proves it.
This is a high-impact leadership role where creativity meets engineering best practices. You’ll be driving better Performance TV outcomes for customers while building and scaling the systems that keep us ahead of the curve. Alongside a Technical Program Manager, the Director of Identity & Attribution, and Senior Engineers, you’ll set the roadmap, align execution, and ensure the squad is consistently delivering value that moves the business forward.
What You’Ll Do:
- Lead the Attribution squad to improve customers’ Performance TV outcomes.
- Partner with your Technical Program Manager, the Director of Identity & Attribution, and stakeholders across the org to define the squad roadmap.
- Collaborate with Senior Engineers and your TPM to execute against that roadmap.
- Foster a culture of ownership and pride in system health, driving metrics around high availability, reliability, scalability, and interoperability of core attribution systems.
- Establish and reinforce engineering best practices with an emphasis on collaboration, trust, and resiliency.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership: design discussions, code reviews, and contributing code when needed.
- Hire, coach, and grow engineers—building a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Keep communication clear around the roadmap, priorities, and ongoing work for stakeholders across the business.
