We’re growing!Sure is hiring across several teams for associate engineers looking to kick-start, restart, or continue their early career in software. You will work closely with a variety of skilled software engineers, designers, and product experts to add features, improve scalability, maintain existing systems, and build out future products within the Sure tech ecosystem.
We are hiring a full-time Data Analyst with experience in building insight-driven reports, and inspecting data sources for our SaaS platform.
You will work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Success teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions. As a small distributed team, we rely heavily on effective communication and autonomy to deliver reliable, timely solutions to our partners.

What You'Ll Be Doing:

  • Create and maintain reports that are accurate and high quality at all times
  • Anticipate data accuracy and availability issues, and solve in advance
  • Work collaboratively with product and engineering stakeholders to design, test, and configure reporting
  • Oversee and analyze outgoing reports to partners, and build solutions for clients to consume data
  • Promote and maintain a healthy and collaborative culture across the team and organization
  • Partner closely with Program Delivery Product Managers to gather partner data requirements, guide format and delivery method selection, and translate business needs into technical specifications
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Sure's standard partner data package, report structures, data dictionaries, delivery cadences, and security protocols
  • Monitor data delivery jobs, perform data quality audits and validation, and coordinate with Data Engineering and Grapefruit Engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize data pipelines
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all partner data configurations, delivery schedules, technical requirements, and continuously improve data delivery processes to enhance reliability and partner satisfaction
  • Support custom reporting requests by evaluating feasibility and coordinating implementation while proactively communicating data delivery status, issues, and risks to stakeholders

What We'Re Looking For:

  • Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting or Computer Science
  • Experience performing statistical analysis
  • Strong proficiency with SQL for data querying, validation, and analysis is required
  • Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data operations (SaaS/B2B experience preferred)
  • Experience with Apache Spark, ideally PySpark is a plus
  • Programming experience with a programming language, such as Python, Ruby, Go, or Node is a plus
  • Experience with Databricks is a plus
  • Experience working with data visualization and reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Metabase.
  • Self-starter attitude and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple data deliverables simultaneously with competing priorities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality
  • Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written
