Healthcare Attorney, Texas

We are currently seeking Texas barred Healthcare Attorneys to join our team and support our clients. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly well-known national healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clinical and operational leadership on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters impacting patient care, hospital policies, and medical staff operations.
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to clinical services, physician arrangements, vendor services, and partnerships.
• Support risk management and quality initiatives, including peer review, patient safety investigations, and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (compliance, quality, finance, and medical staff) to ensure hospital operations align with federal, state, and accreditation requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas; strong knowledge of healthcare law and regulations.
• Minimum 6+ years of strong healthcare, hospital, or clinical operations legal practice.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical risk management, medical staff matters, and regulatory compliance (e.g. HIPAA, Stark Law, CMS rule).
• Strong contract management and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams. 

Compensation, Benefits & Location:

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $140,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more.  Axiomites also get access to professional development resources and learning and development programs. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
