Leveraging Rakuten Mobile, a core business of the Rakuten Group, the Enterprise Solutions Division provides mobile communication services and related solutions to corporate clients. As a crucial department driving the company-wide priority of ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) improvement, we are committed to solving customer challenges by integrally offering fixed-line services, ISP, IP phone services, BPO (Business Process Outsourcing), IoT, cloud, and security solutions. At our Solution Business Division, we provide comprehensive solutions to corporate clients that go beyond mere communication infrastructure. In addition to offering our corporate fixed-line service "KŌSOKU Access," we powerfully drive the digitalization and efficiency of our customers' businesses with services such as ISP, IP phone services, and BPO services.
Our greatest mission is not merely to provide communication lines, but to offer "solutions to the challenges" faced by each of our customers' businesses. Rakuten Group's corporate solutions business is experiencing rapid growth as it responds to the increasingly sophisticated needs of customers driven by accelerated DX (Digital Transformation).
In addition to our corporate fixed-line service "KŌSOKU Access," we are strengthening the provision of solutions such as IP phone services and BPO services. Through these efforts, we aim to comprehensively support our customers in improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
As our business expands and our solution offerings diversify, there is an urgent need to strengthen our sales capabilities to deeply understand customer challenges and propose optimal solutions, our planning capabilities to grasp market changes and create innovative services, and our partner collaboration capabilities to drive these initiatives.
We are looking for new colleagues who can contribute to solving our customers' challenges.Position DetailsOur team provides value by supporting the business growth of corporate clients with IT infrastructure and solutions through the following key operations:
1. Sales (Solution Proposal)
Deeply interview corporate clients to understand their business operations and management challenges, and identify latent needs.
Propose optimal IT infrastructure and business improvement solutions by combining diverse offerings such as fixed-line services like "KŌSOKU Access," ISP services, IP phone services, and BPO services.
Contribute to solving business challenges by building long-term partnerships with customers through new client acquisition and deepening relationships with existing clients.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Planning (Service Development & Strategy Formulation)Analyze market trends, competitor analysis, customer feedback, and technology trends (especially related to security and operational efficiency).Plan, develop, and promote the introduction of new solutions.Formulate business plans, revenue models, and service roadmaps.Collaborate with development and sales departments to manage services consistently from launch to growth.
- Partner Collaboration (Alliance Promotion)Plan and execute alliance strategies with various partner companies both within and outside the Rakuten Group, including IT vendors, SIs (System Integrators), CTIs (Computer Telephony Integration), and telecommunication equipment providers.Discover, select, and negotiate partnerships with new technology and service providers to strengthen the provision of solutions such as Internet fixed lines, ISP, IP phone services, and BPO services.Build collaborative models with partner companies to promote joint solution development and sales activities.Establish a comprehensive solution delivery system that maximizes value for customers.
Work Environment
- Department Size: Approximately 300 people
- Age Range: Primarily 20s to 40s
In the past, many new graduates were assigned to this department, but in recent years, many mid-career hires have joined the company. Our mid-career hires come from a wide range of industries and come from a variety of backgrounds.
Mandatory Qualifications:
・Experience in solution sales to corporate clients (3+ years)
・Sales experience in the IT or telecommunications industry
・Experience in deeply understanding customer challenges and proposing solutions by combining in-house services
・Strong commitment and drive to achieve targets
・Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
・Age: Up to 40s

- TOEIC Score exceeding 800 (or similar level of English ability or a University Degree earned in an English-speaking country)
- In this case, it is necessary to achieve a TOEIC Score exceeding 800 after joining Rakuten in order to be eligible to become a regular employee.
- If no evidence is available to prove the qualifications denoted above, taking an IP test, organized by Rakuten, during selection process is required.
