The Information Technology organization is the technological foundation of our business and works in collaboration with our partners from across the company. The team drives technology and digital transformation, partners with business leaders to design and execute new strategies through IT and operations services and ensures the necessary IT risk management and security measures are in place and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and principles.

About The Role

The Assistant Vice President II, IT Business Management, is responsible for managing and executing multiple end-to-end IT business management processes. This role partners closely with functional teams across Finance, HR, Communications, and Procurement, and supports the execution of strategic priorities for senior IT leadership. The AVP develops executive-level reporting, financial and workforce analyses, and organizational communications that support the overall technology operating model and performance

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple IT business management functions such as Organization Management, Performance Management and Reporting, Financial Management, Resource Management, Contractor Management, and Vendor and Contract Management 
  • Develop reports and presentations for senior technology leadership and stakeholders. 
  • Drive workforce planning, IT budget forecasting, and spend analysis in partnership with functional partners. 
  • Support the design and implementation of IT operating models and organizational change initiatives. 
  • Support the creation of IT goals and objectives and gather overall progress and metrics against these goals 
  • Coordination of portfolio processes related to project demand and intake, project management, project forecasting and resourcing, and support related tool (PPM). 
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts, executive deliverables, and strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Business Management Lead. 

Key Domains Of Expertise:

  • Financial Management – Budget planning, forecasting, financial reporting. 
  • Resource Management – Workforce analytics, headcount tracking, requisition management. 
  • Contractor Management – Vendor pipeline review and contract governance. 
  • Performance & KPIs – Development and reporting of IT performance metrics. 

Skills And Qualifications

  • Excellent collaboration skills 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IT business management processes and governance.   
  • Intermediate understanding of IT operating models.   
  • Proficient partnership and stakeholder engagement 
  • Ability to inspire and engage peers while influencing across units and teams. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field. 
  • 10+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, communications, or consulting. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication skills. 
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across functional and geographic boundaries. 

Work Location

This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX or Durham, NC office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
