The Position

Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is a senior sales role responsible for driving the sales strategy and achieving revenue targets for Roche Diagnostics products and services within a designated geographic region in Indonesia. The RSM will lead and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers and Account Executives, manage top accounts, analyze market trends, and ensure Roche maintains a leading market position while upholding the highest standards of compliance and customer satisfaction.

Your Opportunity

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve or exceed ambitious financial targets for the diagnostic portfolio
  • Top Account Management: Develop and execute engagement plan to top accounts and directly lead high-value sales cycles from initiation to closure for the company's top-tier accounts.
  • Team Performance Management: Manage, mentor, and develop the sales team, setting clear performance goals and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Market & Business Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to grow market share.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with Marketing, Service, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless project implementation and an optimal customer experience.
  • Compliance and Forecasting: Maintain strict adherence to all local compliance and anti-corruption laws, while accurately managing the sales budget and providing insightful business forecasts via the CRM system.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive sales experience in the Diagnostics, Medical Device, or Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience successfully managing and leading a sales team in a regional capacity.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding complex sales targets in the Indonesian market.
  • Deep understanding of the Indonesian healthcare system, key hospital/laboratory structures, and tender/procurement processes.
  • Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills: Proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken) is required for internal and external communication.
  • Negotiation and Account Management: Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and build robust customer relationships at the executive level.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region and occasionally nationally/internationally as required.
