About the Role: National Account Manager

Based at our vibrant Sydney Head Office, this pivotal role within our National Key Account team will have you setting account plans for Key Independent Off-Premise Retail banners. You'll ensure maximum exposure for Diageo's legendary brands while driving key financial metrics like Net Sales, Gross Margin, and market share.

Collaborate with dynamic teams including our NSW State Manager, Regional Field Managers, Commercial Excellence Teams and other State Key Account Managers to bring your account plans to life. Share insights and standard methodologies among your peers to truly excel in this leadership role. This is your chance to work autonomously while influencing both direct and indirect teams to achieve greatness.

Where Will You Grow:

  • Forge strong partnerships with customer banner groups to deliver joint success;
  • Drive innovative actions with customers that enhance promotional program performance;
  • Lead a large P&L and achieve financial & market share targets through strategic leadership of customer JBP processes;
  • Lead category review processes alongside Category & Innovation partners at Diageo;
  • Analyse data sources during monthly NSW Key Account Business Unit Reviews for actionable insights; and

What Will You Bring:

  • Shown experience in Key Account Management within Liquor or FMCG on national chains or independent banners;
  • Strong analytical skills that turn category insights into growth opportunities;
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with a track record of successful commercial investments;
  • Ability to lead multiple collaborators backed by authentic relationship-building prowess; and
  • Commercial & financial competence across full P&L both internally & externally.
