Job Description

As an Infrastructure Datacentre Team Leader, you will lead a team of technical engineers based across multiple Dublin sites, overseeing the physical infrastructure assets within our Data Centres. 

The Data Centre operations team is responsible for the commissioning and decommissioning of all physical assets and for providing onsite hardware support across our global data centre estate.

As a leader within this team, you will have experience working in large Data Centre environments and have previous experience managing teams of Infrastructure Data Centre Engineers or similar. Adherence to timeframes and installation standards is critical to this role.

This role is part of a wider, globally distributed team with members based across the UK, Ireland, and North America. You will be primarily focused on working within the Dublin data centres.

The team is integral to the Company's success, ensuring the underlying infrastructure is deployed and maintained to the highest standards.

There will also be a requirement for some international travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of leading and managing a team of Infrastructure Engineers in large data centre environments.
• Technical understanding of data centres, infrastructure hardware and OS.
• Self-motivation with a strong drive for success.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities, shifting focus regularly.
• Experience with workload planning, prioritisation and resource management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in technical and non-technical subjects.
• Ability to contribute valuable insights and alternative perspectives to problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to work harmoniously and effectively.
• High standards of work with excellent attention to detail.

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of Infrastructure Datacentre Engineers.
• Planning, coordinating and managing infrastructure projects within our Dublin data centres.
• Ensuring adherence to quality, rules, standards and processes within the team.
• Mitigating risk, sharing knowledge and resolving blockers.
• Collaborating with other teams within the Business as required.
• Understanding and implementing governance of best practices.
• Chairing team meetings, conducting 1-2-1 meetings, providing feedback for team appraisals and liaise with third parties where required.
